Sunflower Field of hope

local Charity field of hope has opened their first sunflower field in Kildress outside Cookstown Co Tyrone, i thought it was too good an opportunity to miss. i enlisted the help of the lovely Clare Graham MUA and beauty therapist.

Clare is Currently studying Beauty Therapy locally and we found each other via Instagram when she modelled for another photographer Nigel fleming. Thankfully after explaining the shoot style she agreed to come onboard.

WE had to schedule the shoot around both our calendars and the unpredictable irish weather, so everything was kinda last minute to get a dry evening.

My original idea was to capture a golden hour sunset with clare in the foreground but again the weather made that impossible, so i introduced a variety of custom filters to warm the imagery with the suns tones.

for the last few frames the light was dropping of pretty quick so thankfully clare's boyfriend was on hand to act as VAL and he he did a fab job with the pole mounted strobe behind clare.
